1 cup prawns deveined and marinated  in 1 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp haldi powder
1 tsp sambhar powder
1 tsp green chili
garlic and ginger paste and salt to taste.
Curry leaves
1 big tomato
I potato
2 tsp desiccated coconut
finely chopped 2 big onions.
2 cups rice
wet 1 tbsp whole masoor
1 tbsp masoor dal
1 tbsp yellow moong dal
1 tbsp green moong dal
1 tbsp black udad dal 1 hour before hand
Oil for frying

fry onions till golden brown lower the flame and add 1 tsp green chili garlic and ginger paste, finely chopped tomatoes, 3/4 curry leaves, 2 tsp desiccated coconut powder, potato cut into four pieces and prawns cook on low flame for 5 minutes then put washed rice and all the dals salt to taste and water cook till all the water evaporates.

Serves 7

Chatni is recommended with parsi style masala khichri.


Ingredients: 1 bunch green coriander
few mint leaves
1 tbsp desiccated coconut powder
1 tbsp ground sugar
2 tbsp ground cashew nuts
2 to 3 green chilies and salt.

Method :
grind all the above ingredients with little water to a fine paste.
